Chapter Philanthropy and Service
At Zeta Tau Alpha, philanthropy is at the heart of everything we do. Our chapter is dedicated to supporting Breast Cancer Education and Awareness, while actively engaging with our campus and local community.
Each semester, we host our signature Pink Week, a series of events dedicated to raising awareness for breast cancer. Through educational initiatives, fundraising activities, and campus-wide involvement, Pink Week brings our community together to support a cause that impacts so many lives.
In the fall, our chapter hosts a Gumbo Cook-Off, where students, organizations, and community members come together for friendly competition and great food. This event not only raises funds for our philanthropy but also strengthens connections across campus.
During the spring semester, we organize a Link Sale, offering a fun and interactive way for students to support our cause. This event helps raise both funds and awareness while encouraging participation from the entire campus community.
We proudly collaborate and compete with other campus organizations to raise money for our philanthropy. These events foster a sense of unity and friendly competition, all while working toward a shared goal of making a meaningful impact.
Beyond fundraising, our members are committed to hands-on service. We volunteer with local organizations that align with our mission, allowing us to give back directly and support individuals and families affected by breast cancer in our community.
Through these efforts, our chapter strives to make a lasting difference—spreading awareness, supporting those impacted, and working toward a future without breast cancer.
