Chapter Philanthropy and Service

Our chapter strongly supports Zeta Tau Alpha's national philanthropy of Breast Cancer Education and Awareness! Whether it is raising money for the foundation or passing out Think Pink ribbons, our chapter enthusiastically supports our cause. We feel that we are not doing or duty as a ZTA unless we follow our Zeta creed and "prepare for service and learn the nobility of serving." Each semester, our chapter hosts a "Pink Week" on campus. Additionally, we host two major philanthropy events each year. Since 2018, we have hosted an annual kickball tournament called Kicks for a Cause in the spring. Since 2015, we have hosted a gumbo cook-off in the fall. We also encourage our members to serve in the community by volunteering at the annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5K runs or reading to children at local elementary schools.
